PhD student and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Early Stage Researcher
Mrs. Farzaneh Hassani received her Master’s degree from The University of Manchester in 2012 in polymer Science and Engineering. She has also completed her bachelor studies in AmirKabir University (Tehran Polytechnique, AUT) in polymer engineering. Mrs. Hassani has worked on the crashworthiness of composite structures for automotive applications for her master’s project. She has also worked on manufacturing of Thermoplastic composites as an intermediate product for plastic industry in Iran for three years. She joined QUB in April 2017 as a PhD student and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Early Stage Researcher. she is working on self-reinforced composite structures as part of the ICONIC (Improving the crashworthiness of composite transportation structures) project.
