Chartered Accountants Ireland

Chartered Accountants Ireland

Chartered Accountants Ireland is a professional education and membership body. We represent 28,500 influential Chartered Accountant members across the globe, and we have 7,000 students in training - our employer partners are the island's largest recruiters of graduates. We are part of the Chartered Accountants Worldwide family, a global network of trusted highly skilled individuals with over 750,000 Chartered Accountants and 1,000,000 students in 190 countries.

Our role is to educate, represent and support our students and members. We are keen to grow financial confidence in the economy and drive prosperity. You can become a Chartered Accountant with us by securing a ‘Training Contract’ with one of our employer partners or you can undertake the ‘Flexible Route’ programme (study independently or bolt on to new/existing employment).

To qualify you must complete relevant work experience as well as pass our exams. Our ACA designation, the Chartered Accountant hallmark, is recognised and respected internationally. The qualification is very much a business leadership accreditation and our members work in senior positions across all sectors (practice, industry, public and third sector) in varying roles (traditional Accounting/Finance posts and non-traditional posts).

Chartered Accountants are regarded globally as highly esteemed and valued business leaders.
